South Canterbury Memories: Todd Elliotte

South Canterbury have played Hawke Cup cricket since January 1911, and in those 113 years have won the Cup only once. The captain that day was Todd Elliotte, a long serving offie who played his first challenge in 1994 and played his last games for his province in 2010.

That win in 2000, over a very strong Canterbury Country side, came off the back of some great bowling early on, a strong top-order showing, and some lower-order spine from Elliotte guiding younger players like Nigel Jones home.

Thanks to Todd for sharing his memories of his Hawke Cup career with us.
